Knowledge, attitude, implementation and satisfaction levels regarding availability of resources for airborne infection control among the nursing staff of a medical college in central India during the COVID-19 pandemic

Implementing airborne infection control measures as per guidelines are very important in preventing the spread of infections. Therefore purpose this study was to evaluate gaps knowledge, attitude, implementation and satisfaction levels regarding availability resources for among nursing staff a medical college central India during COVID-19 pandemic. A cross-sectional survey done which 109 nurses participated. This self-administrable questionnaire contained five parts (General information, available resources) distributed participants. The correct responses National guideline, Ministry Health family Welfare, Government India, 2010 (NAIC) were scored assessed. mean age participants 28.9 + 3.02 years. scores out total score 10 5.48 1.2 6.78 +1.0 5.21 1.1 implementation, 4.28 0.9 resources. knowledge adequate 46.8%, attitude positive 89.9 %, guideline 45.9% resource only 9.2% Although had practices, overall NAIC barely majority subjects felt implementations these guidelines. Therefore, it is recommended enforce their training, ensuring better strict monitoring from hospital administrations NAIC.
